When Running Mate, a personal safety app designed for runners, prepared to launch in the Denver market, they wanted more than attention — they wanted impact.

The result was the Running Mate Runner’s Safety Event, a paid outdoor experience at Market Station, one of Denver’s premier adventure and lifestyle destinations.

The goal was two fold:

Recruiting: Create meaningful touchpoints with potential future Mustang students and athletes.

Community Engagement: Demonstrate Mullen’s investment in local youth through fun, high-quality sports programming.

Our Approach

  • Philanthropy: Donated a portion of registration proceeds to RAINN, the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization, supporting resources for survivors.

  • Content Capture: Produced on-site content for Running Mate’s social channels and press rollout, extending the event’s reach far beyond Denver.

  • Official Denver launch for Running Mate, driving awareness and app engagement
