Dani is excited to offer mentorship to the next generation of talented and motivated female runners. Her love for the sport started at a young age, and she knows firsthand what it takes to chase big dreams one run at a time. Through group, team, and 1:1 virtual mentorship sessions, she is passionate about pouring into the future of the sport and sharing insight from her own journey at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels.
Dani supports middle school, high school, and college female athletes in overcoming nerves, strengthening the mental side of running, understanding fueling and recovery, sharpening their training, navigating injury, planning for summer running, and learning more about the college recruiting process — all while building their confidence and deepening their love for the sport.

Dani Jones is a professional middle-distance runner for New Balance, a 4-time NCAA champion, 12-time All-American, and one of the most accomplished female distance runners to come through the University of Colorado. From breaking Arizona high school state records to winning national titles on the track and in cross country, Dani has built her career through years of dedication, resilience, and belief in the process. She also earned the Honda Sports Award as the nation’s top female collegiate cross country athlete.
Today, Dani competes professionally at the highest level of the sport and knows firsthand what it takes to pursue big goals through every stage of the journey — from high school racing and recruiting to collegiate competition, injury setbacks, confidence struggles, and the transition into professional running. Her experience spans not only performance, but also the mental and emotional side of being a young female athlete.
Through Mentor Miles, Dani brings that experience directly to the next generation. She offers thoughtful, honest mentorship to middle school, high school, and college runners who want more in-depth support through some of the toughest challenges in our sport.
Her goal is simple: to help young women grow not only as runners, but as confident, healthy, and empowered people who love the sport for the long run.

Mentor Miles sessions are designed for middle school, high school, and college-aged girls who are competitive runners or aspiring athletes. Parents and coaches are welcome to reach out on behalf of their athletes too.

All sessions are hosted live over Zoom or Google. Once you sign up and complete payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with the session link and any prep materials. Sessions are interactive come ready to participate and ask questions! Parents are always welcome to join and ask questions as well.

Yes please - after signing up, you'll be directed to complete payment through Stripe to confirm your reservation. Spots are limited and only secured once payment is complete. You will not receive meeting info until payment is complete.

Absolutely! If you're a coach or program director interested in bringing Dani to your team for a dedicated session, use the Team Inquiry form on this page. Dani's team will work with you to tailor the session to your athletes. We can make this happen in person or virtual.
